More and more everyday, our reality is showing us that we are spirits in motion. At the same time, we tend to think of ourselves as bodies in motion. Ascension is the process of waking up to the truth that you really are a spirit in motion. And lord knows it’s time to ascend!
The reason is obvious. When we think the only way to do things is through our bodies alone, life is hard and confusing. When we add spiritual action, utilizing our intention, desire, and belief, life becomes very easy, very fun, and very magical.
In this way, ascension really means getting smarter and more skillful in our role as Spirits residing in Bodies! It really means you’re getting more and more spiritually enlightened every day.
Ultimately, you don’t really have a choice in this matter. Like it or not, you’re ascending. Ascension is a natural process that happens to all living consciousness. Ascension is the way Life works; you’re always naturally evolving into higher intelligence. When you take this natural process into your own hands, you can stop fighting, stop pedaling, and just coast, floating downstream, enjoying the breeze.
When you were a kid you played hooky with Life. Why not learn how to play as an adult? Seeing your life as a child playing hooky is Ascension. Ditching work to go play is Ascension!
Play is the new work! Ascension is the new game! Learning how to play this new game is what this class is all about.
Ascending Masters we are! Game on! Let’s play!
This Sunday we will discuss THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WORK AND PLAY IN ASCENSION.
Your teacher is Jenny Funkmeyer who is the personification of this week’s topic on Ascension: Make work into play. With a home based in Los Angeles, she is on her Synchronicity Freestyle Travel currently staying in Ouray Colorado – a beautiful small town high up in the Rockies.
Named after Native American Ute Chief Ouray, the town’s location and surrounding scenery is indeed paradise on earth. However, the human history here is steeped in the painful labor of mining and the bloody wars between the cowboys and the Indians. Life is full of contradictions!
Jenny Funkmeyer is staying at The Antlers Motel, built on the site of a mine from the 1850′s. Amazingly, the motel still houses miners to this day! History is repeating itself right before her eyes!
One night, Jenny heard loud noises coming from the hallway. She came out and was treated to the sight of two drunken miners “tumbling” on the floor. In laugh-out-loud amazement she understood for the first time what “Rough and Tumble” meant! These are endearingly good guys at heart; if only they know the difference between work and play! Human suffering can be instantly be changed to human Ascension! It’s within our personal powers to make these changes!
This Sunday Jenny will talk about how to change the course of history for the local residents, by changing their minds. The ability to tell the difference between work and play is vital to the local miners of Ouray Colorado!
